Water Treatment Plant

 

The water plant is located at 990 Norris Highway, Central SC. The plant is a conventional treatment facility that includes disinfection, flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration. The plant was recently upgraded and has a capacity of 3.0 million gallons per day. Water from Twelve Mile Creek supplies the plant. Many tests are conducted at our on-site laboratory to ensure that water is of the highest quality. Operators are certified through the state of South Carolina and maintain certification through continuing education classes.
